Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides in Central London

What Is It?

Polynucleotides have amazing rejuvenating properties for the skin and have been used in medicine since 1986, for example to promote wound healing and tissue repair. They help promote tissue regeneration and boost your skin’s natural healing process.

Polynucleotides are deoxyribonucleotide polymers (DNA fragments) extracted from fish (Salmon or Trout), sterilised and ultra-purified before being made into injectable products.  At Sonria, we use Polynucleotides to improving skin texture, enhance elasticity, and stimulate collagen production. We also use them to treat hair loss.

How Does It Work?

Polynucleotides are the building blocks of DNA and RNA – nucleic acids that give the instructions for cell function, regeneration and gene expression. These bioactive molecules work wonders for your skin as they promote DNA synthesis, improve cell regeneration and cellular repair. They increase blood flow and nutrient supply to the cells. Polynucleotides stimulate fibroblasts in the skin to produce collagen and elastin, creating a glowing and youthful appearance while leaving the skin feeling moisturised and hydrated.

They also have additional benefits including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Collectively, these benefits lead to an overall improved skin quality. When the treatment is done on the scalp, it leads to an improved scalp skin quality and increased hair growth.
