IV therapy works by bypassing the digestive system and delivering nutrients directly into your bloodstream. One of our medical practitioners will insert a small needle into your vein, usually in your arm. The needle is connected to a tube that’s attached to a bag of nutrient-rich fluid. The fluid is slowly infused into your bloodstream over the course of several minutes to an hour, depending on the type of therapy you’re receiving. Once the infusion is complete, the needle is removed and you’re free to go about your day.
Because IV therapy bypasses your digestive system, nutrients are delivered directly to your cells, where they can be used immediately. This makes IV therapy more efficient than oral supplements, which have to be digested and absorbed before they can be used by your body.
We do not treat any medical conditions with IV Therapy or IM Shots. We can however treat a wide range of concerns such as low energy levels, enhancing immune function and aiding recovery from illness, improving athletic performance, supporting detoxification, promoting relaxation. IV can also be used for sedation and management of pain.
