How Does It Work?

A Botox injection is administered to the desired areas to block the nerve impulses from reaching the sweat glands. This can be due to sweat glands located in various areas around the body, such as underarms, hands, and feet.

This treatment is quick, safe, highly effective and the improvement of sweating is usually around 80%-100%, and should last between 6-12 months.

Botulinum toxin is one of the greatest advances of medicine, used for many other indications as well such as reducing bulky muscles like masseters, treating headaches and migraines, relieving neck tension, facial spasms and others.
